We had booked an executive room with a sea view and were not disappointed with room 58. It's at the top of the hotel, overlooking the garden and the promenade and with huge windows from which to enjoy the amazing view. The room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. The shower room looked a little dated but it was clean and everything worked. The power shower was very good. The whole hotel was clean and bright and the staff really could not be faulted. Nothing was too much trouble, they were very cheerful and friendly and could offer lots of information about the surrounding area and places to visit. We didn't eat in the hotel in the evenings as we found a lovely pub in the village (THe Fox). The hotel dining room seemed very empty most evenings which put us off a little. Breakfast was pretty good. The hot breakfast was good and there were plenty of other items available on the cold buffet. The hotel has a lovely garden right on the beachfront and after a day sightseeing it would have been nice to sit and relax there with a drink for an hour before getting ready for the evening. However the bar didn't open until 6pm ! One receptionist did get us some drinks one day and we were then inundated with people asking if the bar was open as they walked along the prom.
All in all we had a lovely 4 night break here. The walk into Bognor Regis only takes about 10 minutes and the village of Felpham has quite a lot to offer for people not wanting to go far. We stay in hotels all over the country several times a year and this one has really impressed us. Seldom do you find a hotel that the staff seem to be proud of and enjoy working at but it seems like everyone here really cares about people enjoying their stay. We will certainly be back again, hopefully in the same room.
A last minuite drop-in booking, they booked a table for us in the restaurant while we moved our bags into the room.
Very friendly staff, ownly downside was the number of stairs to our room, but a great outlook.
Food was very good & good value.
We spent 3 nights last week at the Beachcroft Hotel and had a very comfortable stay. Both receptionist's were very helpful and friendly, the breakfast's very good and the one meal we had in the eveing was excelant. Location very good and our room clean and comfortable with a lovely sea view, and lovely to have a good indoor pool. Thank you.
